Oui, Si, Yes, And No

Sometimes Gracefully Oui Sometimes Gracefully Oui Sometimes Gracefully Oui Sometimes Gracefully Oui

First of all, OUI to this soft tee by Signorelli from Nordstrom Rack. I’m pretty bummed that it’s currently sold out, but I’ve linked some other large print tees below for your viewing/shopping pleasure. I don’t own too many bold text tees, but I’ve been forgetting to bring my glasses to a number of different places lately, so the large lettering and readable print just spoke to me on a your-an-idiot-for-leaving-your-glasses-on-your-desk kind of level. One woman’s bad eyesight is that same woman’s wardrobe gain. Obviously I should be in the fortune cookie writing business.

SI to this beautiful weather that we’ve been having here in Minneapolis. The sun is shining, the humidity is low, and everything appears to have taken on a deeper hue of green. Every time I walk outside, I feel like I’ve just stepped into the park-dancing scene from Enchanted. We Minnesotans sure do love our warm summer weather. The babies are giggling, lovers are holding hands, puppies are frolicking through the park, and I’m not so secretly hoping that a few friendly birds might fly into our apartment and help me clean our bedroom…fingers crossed…

YES to days spent with my baby sister before she leaves for college. Sophie brought me coffee, chocolate, and an early birthday present yesterday, and then we spent our free afternoon bopping around Northeast Minneapolis. To say that yesterday was just “a good day” would be a complete understatement. Two thumbs up for awesome siblings.

And NO to the bugs that are suspiciously appearing in strange places throughout our apartment. Found one on the wall farthest from our windows and front door…another in the shower {what?!}…another on my bookshelf…it’s creepy-crawly in the most literal of senses. I’m not entirely sure how they’re getting into our tiny home. We certainly don’t live on the first floor, and all of our windows have screens……I don’t know when and I don’t know how, but I’m afraid I may fall victim to some “insect takeover” in the near future, and I’m definitely not looking forward to it. It might be time to bug-proof the house. Which is code for bugs aren’t my “thing” so this is a job for Super Husband.

How’s that for a random update?

Also, check out a fun interview I did for the sweet Chelsea of Calm Like A Bomb! It’s so fun getting to know other bloggers! You can read the interview here! Thanks a million, Chelsea! 🙂

Happy Thursday!

Love the shirt…you styled it really good! Oh and I can imagine how sad it is, if your baby sister leaves for college!
