Because One Set Of Puppy Pictures Just Isn’t Enough

Sometimes Gracefully Sometimes Gracefully

While you’re house and puppy sitting, it’s only natural to want to take a couple of quick family photos with the goofiest woofs around. We spent the afternoon playing around with the tripod and trying to get the puppies to look at the camera by shouting at random moments or talking in high pitched voices…but those dogs knew what was up and decided that they’d rather do their own “thang,” like eat leaves or poop in the neighbor’s yard {who wouldn’t, right?}, so our family photo session quickly turned into a whatever-let’s-just-play-with-puppies-and-set-the-self-timer photo session. Not too shabby of an afternoon, thanks to the puppies and their incessant desire to chase a tennis ball around the yard. Rock on, my furry friends.

Sometimes Gracefully Sometimes GracefullyDarebear and I have got some entertaining to do this weekend, and I think we’ll finally be heading to the apple orchard with our married pals to pick up a whole lot of apple donuts and an unhealthy amount of apple pastries. Bring on the flaky goodness.

Although, this upcoming weekend also means that I’ll have to run to the grocery store and buy food for meals that don’t consist of just saltine crackers and peanut butter…and right now, with the cold weather battering against the window and the thought of unhappy children wailing from their grocery cart seat flowing through my mind, grocery shopping seems a bit daunting. And let’s be honest,Β nobodyΒ likes being “that girl” with a cart filled to the brim with groceries that’s too heavy to even push down the aisles. Story of my grocery shopping life. And my refusal to do push-ups. Guess I’ll have to take one for the team tomorrow night. And I’ll probably have to buy myself a bag of Sour Patch Watermelons to reward my excursion to store…. πŸ˜‰ Those things are so darn good.

Have any big plans this weekend? Anyone carving pumpkins? I better add those to the apple orchard list…and I better start doing some push-ups if I’m going to carve that pumpkin by myself. Boy isΒ thatΒ a workout, am I right?! That’ll be Darrin’s job once we have kids. I’ll just snap the photos. πŸ˜‰

Happy happy Thursday!

Ahhhhh! How precious! This makes me want to get a dog so bad, have you ever heard of a Klee Kai? They’re basically a miniature husky and they are so adorable, I’d love to have one. Maybe I shouldn’t tell you that though because you might be tempted to go out and add even more new members to your family. πŸ˜‰
