The Impending Snow-vember

Sometimes Gracefully Ruche 2 Sometimes Gracefully Ruche Sometimes Gracefully Ruche 3

It’s no secret around here that Darrin takes the majority of the pictures you find here on Sometimes Gracefully. We’ll be out and about, racing to the university or the gas station or the grocery store for this week’s frozen pizza specials {you know how we do}, when he’ll point to a bridge or a park or building and say “That’d be a cool spot for pictures.” He’s got an “eye,” as people in the art world like to say. An “eye” that I like to imagine is like the “Eye of Sauron” from Lord of the Rings,  but with much more positive connotations {obviously. also: nerd alert}. So here’s a brick wall that he found on his bike ride home the other day. He snapped a few photos, reviewed them on the camera viewfinder, then shrugged his shoulders and gave me a “Not as cool of a brick wall as I thought it was” kind of face. Which, you know, made his wife who was standing in front of that “Not as cool of a brick wall” feel super great.

Eye roll.

I don’t really mind this poor ol’ brick wall because it’s supposed to snow this week here in Minnesota, and I’m grasping for any last remnants of pretty fall colors that I can find. Our neighborhood trees are looking cold and bare and particularly lifeless, so I’m all about this bright and bold brick wall. And this pretty red dress from Ruche {duh}. It may be Snow-vember, but here’s to hoping that the potential snow will just “move-mber” on outta here. If you catch my drift.

Soooo many bad puns for a Wednesday.

On a more coherent note, don’t forget to shop my Chloe + Isabel Pop-Up Shop this month! The pretty bracelet and delicate necklace that I’m wearing are honestly my new favorite wardrobe go-tos. You’ll find some more of my favorite jewelry pieces under my Shop tab above! I’ll be hosting a giveaway soon too, so check back here to win some pretty jewels! Tell ‘em Sometimes Gracefully sent you at checkout! 🙂

I love your style and you always look fabulous, but this outfit has to be one of my faves! Darrin does a great job in the pic dept too. I think the brick wall is great.
