The husband and I had ourselves a late night walk around this park the other night. We crossed over the Mississippi River, watched the sun set on St. Anthony Falls, and then stopped at the nearby ice cream shop for one root beer float and one sugar cone filled with “Coffee Break” ice cream (I know. My addiction is real). Apparently 10:15pm is prime ice cream time here in Minneapolis. An ice cream lovers “night life,” I guess. We had to wait in a line that wrapped out the front door and down the sidewalk. But I’d wait in any line for coffee ice cream mixed with some major (I’m talking major) chunks of chocolate.
Our evening need for ice cream was partially inspired by this week’s rising humidity, and a rise in humidity also inspires a need for comfy summer skirts. I found this embroidered Max Studio skirt at Nordstrom Rack the other weekend. I can’t seem to find this skirt in navy online, but I did discover that it comes in a pretty summer green!
Hopefully you have a great rest of your Thursday! It’s almost Friday, which means that we might as well treat ourselves to some late night ice cream tonight for almost reaching the weekend! Right? 😉
