A Merry 2014!

Sometimes Gracefully Sometimes Gracefully Sometimes GracefullyI’m sure you’ve seen these posts all over the interweb, but Happy New Year! 2014! New beginnings! Commitments! Goals! Aspirations! Hopes! Groceries! Darebear and I really need to go grocery shopping…so that may be our first 2014 “order of business.”  How inspirational, right?!

There’s always something refreshing about a “new” anything, especially a new year, although I currently don’t have too many “New Year’s Goals.” I’m reminded more this year of the blessings that I have in life rather than inspired towards some kind of major change or project. I have a lot of things that I’d like to continue doing rather than things I’d like to start. I want to continue working hard and learning in my graduate studies. I’d like to continue growing in my marriage and figuring out what it looks like to truly place others before myself.  I’ve got a whole lot of thankfulness this New Year’s, and I hope you’re able to also look back on 2013 with a grateful heart!

Also, 2014 will mark 2 years of marriage for me and Darrin. 2 years! Time is a crazy and beautiful thing.

Have a wonderful day celebrating the past and loving the future! 🙂

Is your hair naturally like this? It’s amazing. Im thinking about a similar colour for myself this year. I’m trying to save money on hairdressers so we’ll see if I can pull off a lighten on my natural colour all on my onesie.

ANYWAY, enough about the hair thing. Totally feel you on the continuing goals rather than starting new ones. I haven’t really got any new aspirations… I simply wanna see my current ones come to fruition!

I just scrolled to the top to admire that hair again (I can’t help it! :D) and I saw your hubbies name is Darrin. The guy I have my eye on at the moment shared the same name but with an e before the n. I’d never considered Darebear. Even if this doesn’t eventuate, he is gonna cop this name on the regular. Love it!

Happy New Year hun! Happy to have stumbled upon your space here. Let’s go kick this years butt!

What a funny coincidence! Darrin is a good name! 😉
I’ve dyed my hair with a box numerous times…so my current color is a mixture of many different, cheap boxes of hair dye (my hair stylist would be so ashamed!). I usually opt for a dark brown box and then let the sun lighten whatever sections of hair it wants to! Sorry that’s not very specific!
I hope you continue to rock all of your New Year’s goals, girly! 🙂

Already grocery shopping? What about all those leftovers? You must have done some work on the kitchen, huh? Our fridge always always always ends up empty when it’s cold out – It’s just that much harder to muster the strength to get all bundled up to go to the market. If there is snow on the ground GrubHub is my jam.
