Meet: Spill the Wine Bar + Table

I’m always on the look out for a perfect brunch spot, and I think I’ve found it at Spill the Wine. This place looks like it came straight out of an Anthropologie magazine, which is a major bonus in my books.

Now, Darrin and I have only been here for brunch. For some reason, we just haven’t made it to Uptown during their lunch and dinner hours. I mean, I’ll have to go back for their wine! So while I can’t rant and rave about Spill the Wine’s lunch and dinner menu, I can gush about their brunch menu, because I love practically every item!

Every time we’ve been here, I’ve tried to sit outside on their patio. Aren’t those potted plants and flowers just lovely? And when you’re seated outside on a beautiful day, a girl just has to order a mimosa. The one pictured above in that lovely mason jar is a white peach mimosa, but I’ve also had their strawberry basil and their blueberry mint. All three were divine! Next on my list to try is the coconut pecan!

Spill the Wine’s brunch menu features smaller plate options and bigger plate options. Darrin and I tend to order a variety of items off the menu {big plate or small plate} to share with each other. Kind of like a family style brunch. It’s so fun to have such variety!

Some of my favorites off the menu include the apple donuts {with maple syrup and white cheddar cheese…sounds weird but tastes amazing}, the sweet potato sopes, the skillet frittata, and the hawaiian banana french toast!

This place has so many great options, and, when we come with friends, Darrin and I often order a large pot of coffee to share with everyone. It’s amazing.

All right. Enough with the gushing. You all will just have to make a trip out here to Minneapolis and try this place out for yourself. How about we double date. 😉

Happy Almost-the-Weekend!

Wow, this place looks amazing, darling! I’m originally from San Diego, so the concept of brunch is a little strange to me, but now that I’m in New York, it’s slowly becoming a part of my weekend routine. If I ever make it to Minneapolis, this spot will definitely be one of the first places I go to – it looks wonderful!
