Meet: Pinstripes

Pinstripes Pinstripes Pinstripes Pinstripes

Bowling is fun, but bowling paired with a bottle of wine, a leather sofa, and a piece of rich chocolate cake is extraordinary. Pinstripes in Minneapolis is all about that fabulous combination. Darrin and I ventured to this fancy bowling alley for our Valentine’s Day date night, and we had an absolute blast sharing a bottle of wine and broadcasting our horrible bowling scores for the world to see. It was so. darn. fun.

Pinstripes offers not only bowling but also bocce ball and a bistro/bar {with a great menu, by the way}.Β While we waited for our lane to open, Darrin and I ordered drinks at the bar that we eventually brought over to our lane. On Fridays, bottles of wine are half price, so we shared a bottle of pinot, split a piece of chocolate cake, and got our “bowl” on.

Pinstripes is not your average bowling alley, so we tried to be as “classy” as we could sipping our wine and bowling with our pinky fingers out. We played two games and then spent the rest of our evening in the bar area, talking about lovey-dovey things while we gazed into each other’s eyes. πŸ˜‰ I may be joking, but Darebear does get a little sentimental when I suggest that we order a pizza to end the night. What can I say? This handsome redhead loves his pizza. And the Margarita Pizza is an item on the menu that I highly recommend. Delicious.

So if you’re in the Minneapolis area, shoot me a message and we’ll go bowling and drink wine and eat pizza and not be embarrassed by our inability to break a score of 100! πŸ™‚

Happy weekend!

This place looks kind of awesome, a far cry from the cheap hotdogs and vending machines at the bowling alleys over here πŸ˜‰
