Meet: Cafe Cravings

Cafe CravingsThis little cafe is one of my favorites in Minnesota! Now, it’s technically not located in the heart of the Twin Cities like some of my other Meet posts {more like St. Paul suburbia}, but this little place is so worth bragging about!

My Saturday mornings growing up were spent at Cafe Cravings, eating one of their monstrous cinnamon rolls. A mixture of dough and frosting that would melt in your mouth. Breakfast heaven.

Cafe Cravings Cafe Cravings Cafe CravingsCafe Cravings makes their meals from scratch and breakfast is servedΒ all day,Β which is a brilliant idea if you ask me. How do some people just not “do” breakfast? Who could say no to a strawberry-rhubarb muffin and a hot cup of English toffee coffee?!

Darrin and I met my parents here for breakfast the other morning. We had such a good time laughing over coffee, eggs, and muffins; enjoying the smell of coffee brewing behind the counter; talking about our weeks, our schedules, our family, our futures. Marriage has certainly strengthened the friendship between me and my parents, and I’ve so enjoyed going on double-dates and gaining marriage advice from a couple I love and respect. Change can certainly be a good thing. And a forever growing relationship with those you love is one rockin’ blessing, if you ask me.

So if you’re in the area and are looking for an outstanding cinnamon roll or a knock-your-socks-off fruit tart, I most definitely recommend Cafe Cravings. They also serve lunch {try the homemade chicken wild rice soup!} and dinner, so you’ve gotΒ no excusesΒ not to go! πŸ˜‰

I hope your Wednesdays are marvelous! Thanks for stopping by!

It’s such an awesome place! And I never really thought of doing double dates with my parents before I was married…so it has been such a blessing!

I would gain 20 pounds if I lived near this cafe. I noticed boysenberry soda on the one menu – YUM!
