I wasn’t a stranger to the maternity clothing section before I was pregnant. I mean, maternity clothes are made to be comfortable, stretchy, and soft, so my mind would always translate the section of the store marked “Maternity” to “Clothes That Look Cute and Feel Like Pajamas.” And when your clothes feel like pajamas, it’s really tough to have a bad day. So worrying about whether or not I’ll be wearing the maternity clothes I’ve purchased to accommodate my ever-expanding (and boy do I feel it) bump hasn’t been too much of an issue because maternity clothes = socially acceptable pajamas.
Enter the ASOS maternity section. Where I snagged this floral printed skater dress the other week. If you’re pregnant, nursing, or just really into wearing pajamas to the office, seriously consider checking out the ASOS maternity dresses and tops. Or their non-maternity section, if you feel so inclined. I wish my Lightroom editing software could somehow allow you to feel the insane comfort level of this dress. You’ll just have to take my word for it. Or shop a few pieces for yourself. Or roll your eyes at my strangely extreme appreciation for this dress and this store’s maternity section. The choice is yours. 😉
Today is already an especially awesome day because we’re starting today at the doctor’s office, measuring baby’s little head and little arms and little legs and little feet while dreaming about holding that little head and little arms and little legs and little feet in less than five (FIVE?!) short months. We’re SO excited. And rumor has it we’ll be stopping for breakfast bagels on our way home (at least that what my pregnancy gut is telling me).
Baby. Bagels. And breezy maternity dresses. If only every Tuesday started with such wonderful alliteration!
