An Eyelet Dress and Maybe Some TMI

You’re no doubt sick of all these Old Navy maternity dresses that I’ve been featuring lately here on SG, but my gosh when you find affordable maternity clothes that will last you to infinity and beyond (well…at least throughout your 9 pregnant months), you treat yourself to a dress or four.

This lightweight summer eyelet dress from Old Navy is also available in non-maternity sizes HERE (also on sale!), and I’ve linked to a few more summer eyelet dresses that I’m loving below, just in case you’re hoping to jump on the summer eyelet train with me and ride it straight on ‘till autumn.

I took one small step for my ever-growing pregnancy legs and one giant leap for summer pregnancies everywhere when I ordered THESE the other day from Amazon. Pregnancy spanx! Because (warning: TMI) summer leg sweat is a real thing, my friends. Especially when you’re carrying a mini heater in your belly and feel your heart rate rise after every 20 steps you take. And I haven’t even mentioned those I-could-cut-this-humidity-with-a-knife kind of days. So pregnancy spanx! And two-day shipping! Because pregnancy necessities should always be expedited (along with new dresses).

Darebear and I are gearing up for a busy weekend. Tomorrow is my sister’s birthday, Saturday has been designated “packing day,” and Sunday we leave for nearly a week up in northern Minnesota! One of my favorite areas in the United States. If you’ve never been, check out my previous posts from our time spent up north HERE or via the Travel: Meet Minnesota page in the menu above. I’m SO ready for a couple of quiet days in the woods. Bring on the cool mornings along Lake Superior!

I have been OBSESSED with Old Navy’s maternity clothes. I put off buying any actual maternity clothes for months because they’re so insanely priced, but then a friend told me to check out Old Navy and I am so glad they did. We shouldn’t have to pay triple for a t-shirt or dress just because it fits our bump!
