Department Store Nail Polishes for Spring

Sometimes Gracefully Spring Nailpolish-1

This pregnancy has done wonders for my ability to grow and strengthen my fingernails. WONDERS. I don’t think my nails have ever been this long since, well…as a 90’s high school girl chomping on bubblegum and twirling her high pony tail would say, “LIKE, EVER.” So I thought that I should ride this “long nails” wave and buy myself a few new spring nail polishes.Β And if you’re like me (a poor graduate student whoΒ lacks the finances and time to get her nails done), you’ll be happy to know that these pretty spring huesΒ can all be found at your nearest Target or department store. I hear soft pastels are all the rage for this upcoming Mother’s Day. And I’m a mom now, so I’ve got the “inside scoop,” you might say. πŸ˜‰

You can browse these nail polishes below! I’ve also linked a few dresses that I think would pair nicely with each shade, in case you were still on the hunt for an easyΒ Mother’s Day dress!

Sally Hansen’s Hard as Nails Xtreme Wear in Breezy Blue: A pastel blue polish is a bolder choice for spring, so why not pair it with a bold blue dress? This one from J. Crew Factory is sweet and simpleΒ andΒ on sale.

essie Nail Polish in Lounge Lover: Nothing says spring like a pretty peach. Pair it with this floral drop waist dress from LOFT for a pretty accent.

Sometimes Gracefully Spring Nailpolish-4

O.P.I. Nail Lacquer in Lucky Lucky Lavender: Spring purples always remind me of that scene from Disney’sΒ Alice in Wonderland, when Alice stumbles into a garden of flowers and sings “All in the Golden Afternoon.” This breezy maxi dress has got all the right floral in all the right places.

Now if only it would stop raining here in Minneapolis…

Thanks for stopping by!
