Coming in September!

Baby!-6 Baby!-3 Baby!-4 Baby!-8 Baby!-5

Darrin and I are feeling an extra dose of love and thankfulness this Easter! Baby Beekman, who has limited my diet to Goldfish, Jolly Ranchers, and Cheerios for the past few weeks, will be arriving this September, and we are overjoyed!

I asked Darrin, over one of our many dates to our nearest bagel shop to satisfy my bagel sandwich cravings, what he was looking forward to the most:

I said the sounds of baby’s first giggles and laughter. He said that moment when baby recognizes him as “Dad.”

And then my eyes started tearing up while I took another huge pregnancy bite out of my breakfast bagel. I mean, heart. melted.

New baby! And while we’re at it, a new blog design! And I’m almost finished with my masters!

So bring it on, world. The Beekmans, party of three (!), are ready for this exciting new year.

We hope you have such a happy and thankful Easter weekend! I know we sure will.

**As you might have noticed, I’ve been on somewhat of a blog hiatus for the past few weeks thanks to the nausea and sickness of my first trimester (that stuff is no joke, my friends). But we’re on to trimester number two! And boy do I have some pregnancy stories to share! I’m happy to be back!**
