A Happy St. Patrick’s Day!

A happy St. Patrick’s Day to you and yours! I am completely and absolutely 0% Irish. I’m mostly Russian and German, but you don’t find “Kiss Me, I’m Mostly Russian and German and a Bit of French” on one of those light-up buttons. However, I love Irish beer, and traveling to Ireland is most certainly on my to-do list, so I’m celebrating anyways. Plus, this J. Crew Factory skirt is my new favorite wardrobe piece for the spring, and I couldn’t just not wear it for St. Patrick’s Day. Neon green for. the. WIN.

Darrin, with his vibrant red hair, is only a tiiiiiiiiiny bit Irish. Which is crazy, right?! He should be featured on a Lucky Charms cereal box or every “Visit Ireland” brochure. He tells me that he gets his red hair from a grandpa they called “Red” Wilson because of his vibrantly red locks. I’m hoping those vibrant locks pass down to our future kids…then I’d for sure be able to wear a button that says “Kiss Me (JK I’m Married), My Kids Are Irish!”

A 0% Irish girl’s dream come true.

We’re heading down to some of the St. Patrick’s Day festivities in Minneapolis tonight, and I’m hoping that his red hair might score us a few freebies: free drinks, a free appetizer, maybe even a free button. Who knows?

Also, I found this green skirt at J. Crew Factory the other weekend, and I may or may not have purchased this flare skirt in every color they had in stock. When you wake up one morning and realize that you have a total of negative two skirts (negative because I’m not exactly sure if they’re mine…), you do what you’ve got to do.

So. Shop this look below! Have a happy St. Patrick’s Day!
