Darrin and I wondered down and around the Stone Arch Bridge yesterday afternoon right before a downpour of rain drenched Minneapolis and every poor walker or jogger who had gambled that the weather’s brief moment of sunshine was going to last a bit longer before the next storm. We made it home just in time to crack open the windows, make dinner salads, and watch the rain cover our windows and move across the river. Thanks to these warmer and rainier days, the city has been much more green than brown, and we’re planning on waking up early tomorrow for this season’s first trip to the farmer’s market. Bring on the food truck breakfasts and big bouquets of peonies.
Of course, next summer we’ll be visiting the farmer’s market with a stroller, grooving and maneuvering through the crowds like those people who accidentally bump your ankles if you’re moving too slow or say “excuse me! stroller coming through!” like an annoyingly broken record. Darrin is not a fan of mixing strollers with crowds…but he married me. And I love crazy places like the Minnesota State Fair and Disney World. So. Operation Stroller Training is officially a GO this summer! We’re coming for you, busy shopping malls and stressfully crowded zoos!
Have a great weekend!
